Charge Capture for Professional Billing & Ambulatory (3 Hours)
OBJECTIVE: This training is designed to introduce you to the Panther Professional Billing controls. The training will consist of several demonstrations to assist you in becoming familiar with the various concepts around a better understanding of Professional billing and how to troubleshoot charging issues related to physician notes, missed ProFees, and other aspects of professional billing. Upon completing this training, users will be able to navigate through the professional billing controls, with knowledge of how to investigate potential build and/or workflow issues. You also will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge you learn by walking through real-life scenarios in the environment with your Softek Consultant. Charge Capture for Pharmacy (1.5 Hours)
OBJECTIVE: This training is designed to introduce you to the Panther Pharmacy Controls. The training will consist of several demonstrations to assist you in becoming familiar with the various concepts around a better understanding of Panther. Softek will provide functionality training for Panther’s Charge Capture controls listed below as they relate to the Pharmacy staff. Softek will leverage Panther to uncover real-life charging issues occurring in the client’s Cerner environment so that users can expect to leave the session with a better understanding of how they can use Panther to troubleshoot charging issues related to documentation discrepancies, missing admin/dispense charges, obsolete or missing NDCs, and more. You also will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge you learn by walking through real life scenarios in the environment with your Softek Consultant. "What is Panther?" Training (1 Hour)
OBJECTIVE: During this session, Softek will give an overview to the client on what the Panther tools are and how they are used to provide information to the client to improve organization quality and revenue goals. During this session, Softek also will cover the basic modules the software provides and how each group can work together to maximize their Cerner Millennium investment. This session is designed to give everyone high-level understanding of what Panther does. It is not intended to give detailed instruction on what each feature and suite does. OBJECTIVE: During this session, Softek will provide functionality training for Panther’s Charge Capture controls listed below as they relate to the acute (hospital) side. Softek will leverage Panther to uncover real-life charging issues occurring in the client’s Cerner environment so that users can expect to leave the session with a better understanding of how they can use Panther to troubleshoot charging issues related to orders, PowerForms, incorrect QCFs, and more. OBJECTIVE: During this session, Softek will provide functionality training for Panther’s Patient Accounting controls listed below as they relate to the HIM Department. Softek will leverage Panther to uncover real-life coding issues occurring in the client’s Cerner environment so that users can expect to leave the session with a better understanding of how they can use Panther to improve workflows and identify “black-hole” areas in their coding processes. OBJECTIVE: During this session, Softek will provide functionality training for Panther’s Patient Accounting controls listed below as they relate to the PFS. Softek will leverage Panther to uncover real-life billing issues occurring in the client’s Cerner environment so that users can expect to leave the session with a better understanding of how they can use Panther to gain visibility to billers’ productivity. OBJECTIVE: During this session, Softek will provide functionality training for Panther’s Patient Accounting controls listed below as they relate to the Business Office. Softek will leverage Panther to uncover real-life billing issues occurring in the client’s Cerner environment so that users can expect to leave the session with a better understanding of how they can use Panther to improve workflows and identify “black-hole” areas in their billing processes. Users will be exposed to best practices and how other organizations have formulated systematic processes of communication with other teams to decrease the days in accounts receivable. Panther’s Patient Accounting Suite is designed for hospitals running Cerner’s Patient Accounting application. Our suite gives you on-demand, interactive visibility into current financial data. This suite offers access to the Average Trial Balance (ATB), ATB Trending, Discharged-Not Final Billed (DNFB), and General Ledger.

Servers Control
The Servers control is used to manage the server processes that run on the back end.
Sensor History Components
The Action History control shows all actions on the system. Actions are either IBM MQ Message Replay actions or Server Cycler actions.
Cycle Groups and Cycle Schedules
The Cycle Groups control allows you to define cycling settings for multiple servers at one time to be used whenever that group of servers needs to be cycled. The Cycle Schedules control gives users access to Automated Cycle Schedules. From this page, a user can create, remove, modify, copy, or enable/disable cycle schedules.
Interfaces
The Interfaces control is used to monitor the interface processes that run on the back end. Interfaces are domain-specific in Panther. The ESI Logs control is used to view External Service Inbound (ESI) log entries in the database. The HL7 Loader control provides access to read HL7 messages.
Queues Control
The Queues control is used to manage and monitor the message queues used by the Cerner Millennium system.
Message Logs
The Message Logs control is used to view Message Logs written to by each server. The Favorite Logs control provides a node-independent view of Message Logs and a quick way to access commonly reviewed logs together. In this course, you will learn why message logs are important, how they’re created, where to find them, what they contain and how they behave.
Current Events
The Current Events control provides a view of ongoing events Panther has detected within a domain.
Panther Management
Learn to manage suspensions of domains, nodes, notifications, and proactive actions.
Audit Logs Control
The Audit Log shows an electronic audit trail of user interactions with the system. All interactions with IBM WebSphere® MQ, Millennium Server Control, Panther Management, and Open Engine are audited. Any login attempts are recorded and Panther User Management privilege changes.

Oracle Query Control
The Oracle Query control gives users access to issue queries against the Oracle® instance defined in Foreign System Setup for the domain.
Tablespace Projection Control
The Tablespace Projection control allows you to see data previously collected by Panther regarding the amount of space used by and allocated to Oracle® tablespaces.
Services Control
The Services control shows a list of all currently registered services. This view provides information such as current connections and messages.
Topology Management

Foreign System Setup
The Oracle® Connection Setup allows you to configure the connection string used by Panther to access the Oracle® database on a per-domain basis. Node Connection Setup allows you to configure the credentials used to connect to a domain's nodes in order to access their RTMS timer data.
iBus Logs Control
The iBus Logs control gives users access to view log files stored on iBus servers defined in Foreign System Setup for the domain.
Panther Reports
The Management Reports document high-level metrics concerning the availability of important areas within Cerner Millennium® system. This documentation is offered with both Summary and Event Analysis reports to make identifying trending data easier.
Configurations Control
The Configurations control is used to manage the configurations of server processes that run on the application nodes.
UP Dashboard
When there is an issue, the UP Dashboard tells you where to start looking first so you don’t waste time checking things that are functioning normally.

SCP Recommendations
The SCP Recommendations control is used to reduce queuing and improve wait times in Millennium® applications. The SCP Recommendations control uses historical queuing data gathered by Panther to recommend increasing instance counts for services that are queuing.
Printers Control
The Printers Control provides a way to see if all the printers have been built correctly on all the application nodes within your domains. Not only can you correct the build of the printers, but you can also better understand which printers can be used for labels, armbands, prescriptions, and clinical documentation.
